To successfully lose weight you first need to identify these limiting beliefs that are holding you back. Be honest with yourself without being critical.

Every time you detect a limiting belief you need to examine it carefully and then you need to change it. Decide how you would like this thought to be and rewrite it in a way that will best suit you. It doesn't matter if you have to make up bits of the new thought that you are going to replace it with - just do it. Let me give you an example. Your aunt told you when you were a child "Goodness child, if you don't eat more than that you will never grow strong and healthy". Now that you are an adult your subconscious is still guiding you to over eat.

Let's rewrite your memory. Imagine your aunt telling you "You are such a strong and healthy girl because you eat your vegetables and don't guzzle too many sweets and chocolates." Now make a movie in your head of this and play it with intensity and feeling whenever you remember to do so. Very soon it will replace your original memory and you will no longer feel that you need to eat so much.
