Are you using IBOtoolbox to it's fullest eMarketing potential?

Having been involved with marketing most of my life, and eMarketing since 2010, it didn't take long to figure out IBOtoolbox's true value. It was built to be a self branding platform. It does work for some business brands as well.

Know, like, and trust

In everything you do, the idea is to create know, like, and trust with other IBO members, then the internet audience which comes from Search engines if you do it right, and from social sharing.

Self branding platform

Things are working out as the original owner of IBO planned. In the early days we knew where from where our traffic was coming. Social sharing at times brought me 100 visitors in an hour. I was seeing search engine traffic at times, within 12 minutes of posting. As far as I can tell the times are not as fast for search engine traffic now. People were telling me they were finding my content on page ones on several search engines in my niche and several sub niches. One in particular I remember someone told me was being found in 12 sub niches. This always had to be shared to you by others, because if you search yourself the findings are skewed.

Inspired by

Internet marketer Wanda Simpson

Today's press release was inspired by Wanda Simpson. She is not new to IBO, yet hasn't been seen much. Hopefully this will help her and all the newer members of the platform.

Here are a few tips on marketing through IBOtoolbox

In part this information comes out of a book (in my own words) written by Don Sabelhaus, which I have had next to my computer for years now. He is no longer with us, but his legacy lives on.

You certainly don't want your entire content to be a link. There are two reasons for this. One it is very hard to read. Two, search engines won't pick it up.

Since you should be a product of your product, write content that shows how you personally are benefiting from your product. This does two things, it builds KNOW, lets other people decide if they LIKE you. With those it gives a reason for others to do business with you. If you don't have time or feel you can do yourself justice hire a writer.

Roland Meier

Roland Meier internet marketer

One of my long time IBO friends can create content for you for a reasonable price. His content has always been good and keyword specific. His preference is writing about locations, but it isn't the only area he where can write keyword content.

Font choice

Also pick a font you want to represent you. Research shows that using a size 12 or 14 font makes it possible for the old folks like me to actually be able to read content. IBO doesn't give you a choice on their editor so you have to use another program. If you don't have Microsoft office, Apache open office works, and can be downloaded without cost. Just make sure you get it from the source, because sometimes you can get unwanted programs added in if you don't.

Pictures for sharing and SEO

Always and I mean always put a picture or graphics in your content. For IBO these must be hosted on the internet. The reason for this is you want people to be able to share to Pinterest. For it's size, it is still the highest converting per person social media in existence. Photos and Graphics also help (if properly tagged) with search engine optimization. I do know this is going to change, because I am helping develop what is going to change it.

Keyword research

Do keyword research or have someone do it for you. Find something people are searching that relates to your product with about 50,000 competitors. This is considered a sub niche. That is not a problem because there is where you will find the most buyers. It is important to choose a sub niche people are searching. This, if you are not going to do, I recommend outsourcing to Venezuela, the Philippines, or India. On average it takes 4 hours to find something suitable.

Personal branding

The goal of marketing is to get your name and face to where people can find them. Then with a message basically explaining the benefits of you first, then your product. You want people coming to you, rather than you having to try to sell to them. The internet is a buyers market, not a sellers. People are more intelligent now and want a buying experience.

How to get the most out of IBO

If you can't log in daily, set a schedule where you can be on at the same time of day whenever you can. I generally spend 4 hours a day on IBO in two sittings. Because of other things I do, I have to be on the internet from 8 AM to noon and 8 pm until midnight. I pop back in to IBO when I can.

If you can't leave comments on six press releases, at least leave them on three. in this case you will want to make three wall posts as well. Don't have every wall post lead to your product. Find something of value to the IBO audience and share it, even if it leads nowhere.

Make friends

You never know where it will lead. I have only been back on the internet full time for a year now. I actually came back because an old friend I met on IBO convinced me a group she was part of needed my help. She was right, and it has been a mutually beneficial relationship.

How to use IBOtoolbox in-house emails

Don't pitch in (in-house) emails. All you are trying to do is create a relationship where people trust you. All of my customers have come from relationships built starting with in-house emails or referrals from IBO friends with whom I have a personal relationship.

I hope this helps. Don't let it scare you, just do what you can as you can. Each little thing will build, and you really can achieve your dream. © August 30, 2018 2:30 PM CDT Dennis Thorgesen, Lisechglobal business and brand consulting, Lisech eMarketing, all rights reserved.
