Is content king for your brand ?


Written content


The purpose of a blog is to give information of value to the reader. People in general wish to be informed buyers. A blogs function is to build know, like, and trust with your audience. They can be used as a sales tool however should lead to a sales page for those who are termed panic buyers.

A single blog won't do much, it takes time to build the know factor. Without the know factor it is hard to build like and trust.

Where a customer wants to be


Press release


Press releases are for when something special is happening in your company. A new store opening is a good example. They should contain a reason for this person to visit whatever it is you are doing.




The purpose of content on a website is to give enough information of value to convince a visitor to do whatever it is you want them to do. In many cases this is to get them to opt in to an email list.


Because most buyers do not buy the first time they see something. In general it takes from seven to ten times of seeing something before they make a buying decision.


Auto response emails


First and foremost use a system which lets you address the reader by their first name. Make the first paragraph about them.

  • Second paragraph is about you, to build the trust factor.
  • Third paragraph addresses the problem the reader is having.
  • Fourth is a call to action.
  • Fifth make sure they can complete the action at that time. 




Written ad


Ad copy's function is to give enough information in a compelling way to convince the reader to click the link. They are always and only to be placed where people have an interest in your product or service. They are the least effective of ad types because you are very limited in what you can show.

Picture ad


There is a saying that a picture is worth a thousand words. Pinterest has proven this true. People respond to pictures in a way they don't to the written word. Education level comes in to play here as well. A kindergartner can gather enough from a picture to know if they want something. This doesn't change much at any level of education, however enough that pictures must be appropriate to the audience.

This is referring to where the video is the ad. These will follow close to the same format as an auto response email. Compelling title, about a problem the viewer is having, your solution, and a way for the viewer to satisfy their need.


Video Branding


These are a way to introduce and expand a persons knowledge of your brand. They are to be informational in nature. Expounding on why a person should do business with you. You can use a social cause which in some cases convince a potential buyer to become a buyer.
