Get real, if you own a business you are a brandLisech small logo

The people of the world “brand” everything with which they come in contact. Their choice of “brand word” comes from how something or someone makes them feel. Businesses make people feel. Get real… means choose what you want others to feel.

Logic and emotion

How many times a day does an online business owner hear “I buy based on logic”? The reality of a buyer’s logic is… Without an emotional attachment, no one becomes more than a one-time buyer. They may be sold something once.  If the product or service does not live up to the brand (companies) promise, will a buyer return? My guess is you know the answer from personal experience.

Lack of training and leadership

How do you feel when someone sends you an unwanted or unasked for link? Do you automatically feel you are not going to do business with this person? Now… where do you think this person learned to send unwanted links? In my experience, people learn by example.

What they are doing is due to a lack of training and leadership. If your job is to provide training and leadership, do it. If you don’t know enough, be real, people will appreciate your honesty. When asked a question or if you see someone sending unwanted links, don’t do nothing, explain you are going ask someone who does know. Ask them to hold off doing what you see is not working, until you get back to them.  What you don’t realize is you are hurting not only the person you are training. This also reflects on your brand.

Brand promise graphicEvery company makes a promise to its potential customers. In my business, this we refer to as the brand promise. Potential customers should know about this promise before you make contact. If you do it right people will come to you. They will already know they want to do business with you.

Get real

If you want someone to do business with you, the best way to do it is be real. The truth is selling won’t give you the desired results. Tell don't sell

Now, try explaining how you are receiving benefit from your product or service.  Then going on to explain how the person you are talking to is going to receive the same benefit (if they have a need). Beyond this, explain how they are going to gain from doing business with you personally.  At this point, are you finding buyers?

Unsure about how to get real

If your business isn’t showing well as a brand, we have been helping people online with identities and shown companies how to present the right image. Our seven-specialist team approach is unique. They include IT(website design), Content, Marketing, Graphics, Search engine optimization, Social media optimization, and video.

These specialist teams are increasing and becoming regional, within the world. Most of our staff is multi-lingual with the exception of those working strictly for the U.S. market. In many cases, our teams integrate with yours. ©June 16, 2015 2:10 PM EDT Dennis Thorgesen, Lisechglobal consulting, Lisech eMarketing, all rights reserved.
