Since late 2010, the internet has been in gold rush mode for brands again. During the original internet gold rush, many small companies made millions of dollars. In about 2004 when the newness of the internet wore off, and Google started making major changes, the first rush ended. It was brought to my attention in late 2010 that another internet gold rush was starting on the internet.  Believe me it hasn’t slowed yet.

How should knowing this affect your business/brand?

The game changer, in 2010 was the use of social media. This remains a viable option today although now there is more you need. In this same period, a new player entered the market. To my knowledge, IBOtoolbox lead the pack, and still does today. IBOtoolbox is a social marketing platform. The originator understood company owners had to reach their audience. They needed tools, social media sharing, and search engines picking up content posted by company owners.

What happened to keep the gold rush moving?

If you understand where the buying traffic is going, (which devices they are using to access the internet) you can benefit. Apple’s® Iphone started the latest new way to become a millionaire phase. Since then we have seen a major change worldwide. More people are accessing the internet daily on mobile devices. You wouldn’t believe how many of them are using their mobile devices. It is translating to dollars and cents.

IBO realized the world was moving mobile. To keep reaching the audience for those businesses on board, they realized was moving, the not mobile friendly platform they translated to mobile friendly. Like all websites, they lost a little yet gained more. They also knew that in a gold rush the people who make the money are the people who sell the tools. IBOtoolbox has always been intended to be a platform people could use at no cost. Buying advertising has always been a personal choice. They then created the IBO family of websites containing other needed tools.

What we at the Lisech brands are finding is people are not utilizing any social media, even the IBOtoolbox platform to its fullest potential. In 2011, I talked to the original owner and creator of IBOtoolbox. He had a dream for the platform, this dream was to create a community of like-minded individuals who would help each other reach their dreams.

In it, he also explains how to use the platform to gain response and followers on other social media. I keep my paperback copy next to the office computer.

So how does a book written to the original platform continue to work with the constant changes to the IBO platform? It is designed to show you how to use the most important tool you own.  Your most important tool is… your human mind. How to use other new tools can be learned, what he teaches can also. The trouble is most people leave the platform and give up on their dreams before they do.  Some who remain never reach their full potential. They see little to no measurable results, because they haven’t learned how to achieve them.

Learn to use your brain before you learn to use the tools. Much of what is in the book can be translated to every social media. I am going to add to this, it doesn’t matter what business you are in.
