Building a brand; Finding buyersLisech small logo

Everyone who is building a brand does so to create income. To this end, most spend untold hours finding buyers. The business model you use has no bearing on the end results. You must find buyers to have a viable business.

Finding buyers

There are no two people who approach talking to others the same way. You have to search inside you to find the special part of you. To learn the basics you must follow, and then you have to become a leader.

“You will recognize your own path when you come upon it, because you will suddenly have all the energy and imagination you will ever need.” – Jerry Gillies

Use what you are

Finding buyers takes a different approach than selling. People now prefer buying from people they know. In the internet world, this is becoming more of a normal way to do business. Be who you are and be approachable. Let people who call you do the talking. Guide the conversation as a tool to find out what they need. Share what you want to learn. If what you carry fills a need then you can share how it is going to help. If not it is better to say good-bye and find someone new to talk to. This though doesn’t mean you have wasted your energy. People can help you in ways other than becoming buyers.

The best approach

The best marketer who is an independent business owner is Terri Pattio. Her winning domain names website and search engine optimization for content marketers is all you see her promote. Many people don’t realize she earns most of her money from MLM. She doesn’t share this with anyone other than people she knows will benefit her organization.

Imagination

There is no one exactly like you. In the end when create your style, it is going to an effective way to market for you. Your style isn’t going to work for everyone so don’t try to sell a sales system. Once you have the basics down, go your own way.

Sales

Websites on computers

Websites and web pages are what should be doing the selling for you. Even so not every page should be about making sales unless your website is strictly a sales website. People like information about what they are buying so they can make an informed decision. This doesn’t mean you can’t have a call to action on every page. It can be as simple as getting someone to opt in to your list or call you on the phone. Often a single call to action works better than giving many choices.

Energy

Keep your energy level high. People can tell if you are going through the motions. Believe in your product, believe in you and let this show when you are working. When you meet people, give what you expect to receive.

An example of energy from my life

Door

I often saw my mother in a bad mood. When someone knocked on my mother’s door, though there was an instant change in her. She knew she had a buyer.  She was instantly cheery and for the most part bubbled with enthusiasm. Did she study or did she instinctively know the vibrations she sent the visitor would be returned?

What did you learn?

The most important lesson here is find buyers.  This is the best way to build a viable brand. Selling might work short term, the goal of your business is to earn enough to enjoy the lifestyle, which is the reason you started your business. ©September 19, 2014 6:30 PM CDT Dennis Thorgesen, Lisechglobal consulting, Lisech eMarketing, all rights reserved.
