Building a brand; why introduce yourself
Lisech eMarketing logo

As you are building your brand, introducing yourself to people is important. This is normally done in person yet other methods can be as effective. The advent of the computer has changed the way the world does business.  It is important to learn to use what is available to reach a worldwide audience. If your product has value to an audience beyond your current reach this is something you really want to do.

Research

Research the companies you want to contact. This is so you have some idea of what the company does and if the companies can help each other. You also want to get to know the business owner or the person you will be dealing with on a friendship level. Solutionsiec brand logo

Don’t push

People buy from people they know, like, and trust. There are very few who buy the first time you talk to them. Never make people feel pushed into buying. A long-term friendship is going to be the most beneficial. If you can feel there will be no ill feelings when calling someone you met or talked to several years ago, you know you are doing this right.

A meet and greet method

One I highly recommend is video emails. Once you have made contact with someone by phone, email, or chat if you are given his or her email address send this person a personalized video email. This puts your face, your tone, and emotion into the mix. People love this. Do not make a pitch in the video email. It is a friendship tool, which can be used as a way to find buyers. If you don’t have a video email platform look up Lonnie Shipe on IBOtoolbox his company offers a high quality no cost system.

Blogging as an introduction tool

You can use your blog or any platform, which allows articles as a method to meet new people. Let people know who you are. Be real. Your goal is not to advertise your business; it is to advertise you as a human being. No one is going to buy your product until he or she buy into a friendship with you. Both Attraction and Magnetic marketing depend on this method on the internet.

Introduction videos

People love videos. It gives them a feeling for who you are as a person. Where you host them is up to you. There are many options what is going to work the best is a mobile platform where all the visitor sees is you and information about your company. YouTube is not the best choice for hosting this type of video.

Mobile

If you are not reaching people on mobile devices, you are behind the times. It is important now more than ever to have a mobile presence. There are platforms available, which will help others find you on mobile devices.

Building a personal brand

There are companies, which are only worried about bringing others to meet them as a person. This has been very effective for writers and motivational speakers.  Many MLM marketers use this method also. They use it as a screening process so they are sure the people they add to their sponsorship line are the type of people who are motivated enough and interested enough in their product to succeed.
