Building a brand; attraction/magnetic marketing or link spam

When you are building a brand, your goal is to attract
others to your business. All brands have links and there is a tendency to share these links in a form others see as spam. This is especially true for newer internet marketers.


Attraction marketing


The goal with this type of marketing is to share what those
visiting your niche find of value. People who are alike are attracted to each other. How do you know what others value? What you have to consider is in what others in your niche want. A good place to find this information is your competition. Attraction is always niche specific.

Magnetic marketing is being the go to person for people in your life. Those in your circle are there because you can and do answer their life questions. People who use this system spend a lot of time on social media and the telephone. They are always meeting new people with no sales agenda. They know they will find buyers for anything they choose to share. This does not have to be niche specific.


On the internet


They are the people/companies who open service businesses.
Drawing people isn’t hard for those using these methods. It is done by sharing their knowledge usually through articles or videos.


Link spamming


Link spamming is sharing what you believe to be of value,
mostly to yourself. In most, however not all cases, these are links to their opportunity. Those who see the links see little or no value. They don’t know you. Chances are those who see the posts don’t even know if they like you. One thing is for sure they won’t for long if you use this method. You have built no
