Building a brand; Financial freedom

Financial freedom

The reason most people start building a brand is to gain financial freedom. There are many who try to use short cuts to gain financial freedom. These either lose their dream of freedom or go back to square one and learn what they need to thrive. 

When you learned to walk, you didn't consider it impossible. It doesn’t take long to learn you will fall. This doesn’t stop you. Riding a bicycle is the same. When you fall, you just get up and fall again. You keep doing it until you get it right. Learning is part of what we each to.  Freedom is something we all strive for as a child. 

In internet marketing, it should be no different. You didn't stop learning as a child because you fell and skinned your knees. That freedom was too important. 

Some people fear failure. This fear is not something we are born with. Our mindset as a child is “we are going to succeed at anything we do.”  Fear of failure is a learned behavior. What those who fear failure spent years learning can be changed by training.  

How much is financial freedom worth to you? 

It is important to work on your mindset. [No] is the most used word in many households. For the internet, it can be the same. You should consider it a problem when people tell you have to hear a lot of no’s before you hear a yes.

You must learn how not to ask questions that require a yes or no answer. 

You must learn

If something works, do more of it. 

If it doesn't work stop doing it.

Learn daily; including learning from your mistakes. 

This is the best method of building a brand, which will last. 

You have to decide how important financial freedom is to you.

 

It doesn’t matter what kind of business you run, networking is important. Networking is a learned behavior. It takes truly understanding that we each have two ears and one mouth. They are to be used in the same proportions. Simply stated; listen twice as much as you talk.

 

People love to talk. If you listen and show you care, they open up even more. As you listen you will learn what they have to offer, what their needs are, and sometimes knowledge which will help you in other areas of your life. 

Networking is not about making sales. 

Yes, you are asking….Ok then why is it important? There will come a time when both parties can benefit. This is from sharing by word of mouth.

 

If ones product or service can honestly benefit the other, there will be a time to share. If not the value is in having them share with others. In a first call you can touch lightly on your business however don’t try to sell. It doesn’t work. 

When you speak, add value. Use your life experiences as they relate to the conversation.  You will find that most people want the same things you do. Each most likely will have a different reason for wanting it.  In many cases, both parties are building a brand. Quite often, each will have another vehicle they believe will give them financial freedom.
