Building a brand; Jason Yost

Jason Yost

Jason is not an average internet marketer. He is using the internet to build a brick and mortar company. Without a doubt, he understands the internet is a viable way to reach his audience. His brand is being built using what works in today's world.

Long and healthy life

The goal of many people today is a long and healthy life. They believe anything that interferes with this should be removed from their home and place of work. Finding contaminants in these environments is Jason's goal. He doesn't earn from removing contaminants just from finding the ones which make life shorter or miserable for his customers. Where many companies end with indoor contaminants, he also checks the ground outside if it is necessary.

His approach

He realizes people would look at his company differently if he earned from cleaning up what he finds. When it comes to cleaning up he follows up to make sure what he finds is properly removed. It does a customer no good if the contamination increases even for a while or remains once the job is finished.

Internet Trends

Companies using the internet today can easily reach worldwide. It is also possible to guide local people to a business which fills their needs. Mobile technology and videos are on the cutting edge and are quickly becoming the norm. Those who learn to use these two methods will see greater success than those who don't.

Less is more

What? This doesn't make sense. How can less be more? What this refers to is Identity design. It needs to be simple. You want to use the smallest amount of words and graphics possible to show the world who you are. It has to be unique and be easily recognizable as your brand identity.

Social media

For brick and mortar businesses the best social media choices are Google + and Linkedin. This is as long as they are used. It also takes into consideration effective use. This doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't use others. Facebook is where people go to research companies with whom they are considering doing business. Although you can do business without it, your overall campaign will do better if you use it. Owners who work business to business often find their best choice is Linkedin.

Marketing campaigns

Jason understands it is important to have a marketing campaign. He realizes it has to cover all the social media he uses. Timing is crucial. What he offers must be in front of those who are going to use his services. The best timing is when conditions are optimal. Years of experience have taught him when the timing is right.

How about the rest of the year?

This doesn't mean you can sit on idle the rest of the year. Nothing can hurt a business more than unused social media. Building a following takes time and followers become fickle if you are not talking to them.

Don't take on more than you can handle.

Jason has to manage his time effectively. His social media choices make this more necessary. He does realize he doesn't have to post once a day or more often all the time. He just has to share information his following is looking for following a pattern. The pattern can be as little as two days a week as long as posts are timed correctly and this timing remains constant.

Summary

Jason Yost knows his business. He knows how to present it to the world. There is a plan he has devised, he knows where he wants to go. Following the plan is an everyday occurrence.  In the end he has been effective in building his brand.
