Building a brand, Pemo Wojtasik

Pemo  Wojtasik

As most people know, building a brand is not an easy task. So why an article about someone who struggles with English and I haven’t talked to since leaving Nebraska until about a week ago?

Why

Pemo has something to offer worth looking at. He has an attitude that is rare among internet marketers. His belief in himself is strong, so strong, that he works strictly on the internet and has no J.O.B. English is not his first language and he struggles with it. In spite of this, his audience is English speaking.

Linkedin connection

There is a group on Linkedin formed by Pemo. It should be a spammer’s paradise. What it will become I have no idea. Most people who know the Lisech companies know we don’t spam.

Helping others

Before you even think of selling, you have to show people how much you care. No one will pay attention to you unless you do. Most newbies spend more time spewing spam than talking to anyone. I often wonder if the success rate would increase if it was handled differently right from the start.

After talking to him

“I remember few years ago when I was Sales Rep for construction insulation material company...I visited my customers...they knew that I am visiting to get order....but I have never talked about orders...we were talking about life...we are helping each other solve our life problems....order was different story...always made after :-) Thanks Dennis I forgot that we are helping…Now I am ready to help...back from long journey in vicious circle.” Pemo Wojtasik

Don’t be in such a hurry

What you want will come to you if you show others how much you care. David Snell is a great example because his first line is always “How can I help you?” As strange as it sounds, every business including yours is really about helping others.

Brick and mortar buying experience

When buyers enter a brick and mortar store, they are looking for a buying experience. They are looking for someone knowledgeable about what they are considering purchasing. No one wants to be sold; purchasers want to feel secure that they are buying something that will fill their needs.

No different

On the internet, it is no different. People do not like being sold. They do however love great buying experiences. You can’t fill a need until you know one exists. This is based on what you hear them say. You can’t hear, unless you listen.

First call etiquette

On a first call, you need to concentrate on listening. People don’t want to hear “Hi I am ______. Here are my links check them out.” Forget sales pitches. No one worth talking to is going to respond positively until you show you care.

So how do you show you care?

Listen and ask questions based on what you hear. Everyone has needs and most are more than willing to talk about them. Does the person you are talking to have a family? If so what are their first names? This information may not be forth coming, most times though it will and if you are smart, you will write the information down where you can find it.

How does this help?

Learn what you can because friends know family members names, they know about pets, favorite sports, hobbies, as well as have a feeling for the person. If you ask, they might ever share their favorite brands with you. When this becomes important is recurring phone calls. When the person feels you remember things that are important to them personally, you become more important to them.

Rome wasn’t built in a day

Help others and it will come back to you. Maybe not from each person you talk with. It could be through referrals, other times from strangers who find you care about others so why wouldn’t you care about them.

I just sell products

As Pemo indicated above, he did business by talking about life first. He showed his clients he truly cared about them. In this case, he was building someone else’s brand. Now it is time for him to build his own. Will you be part of it?
