Building a brand; Helping communities

This article is about building a brand though helping communities. In the past we have done free consultations, supported those who have real needs, now we are working on helping an entire county.

Why I do it

Most of the people who know me personally know I help others. The reason I do this; when I needed help others stepped in and gave, maybe not what I wanted, always though filling my real needs.

Hand up not a hand out

This has been my way of life in spite of the fact that many times when I needed I wasn’t capable of accepting a hand up. There were many times there was nothing I could do in return to help others.

Allendale County, South Carolina

This is where our companies are now located. It is the 10th poorest county in the United States. Allendale was once a thriving county. Due partly to traffic changes it is the poorest county in South Carolina. There were plenty of jobs and plenty of money. When interstate 95 was completed, it diverted the traffic 40 miles east.

Why is Allendale worth helping?

It is by no means the most beautiful place around. Buildings, which are no longer used, dot the city. I saw much the same in many communities when I was traveling here.  What makes it special is the people.

In the mid-west using Nebraska as my example, because that is where I lived, in years past people would greet each other as they were walking down the street. I don’t know when the majority of it stopped, I just know for me personally it did. In Allendale, I can’t roll down any street without being greeted by everyone I meet.

Is it better to give than receive?

Let’s change this to what they say works for internet marketers.  “You will only receive if you give.” If you are not giving value in one form or another, you are not going to receive what you want. Building a brand requires giving.

Giving and receiving value

The Guardian angel program; which I am proud to be part of, gives both to those who give and to those who receive. David Snell of Snell experts does the same. The Guardian angel program is a 501C3 now based in Allendale, South Carolina. Snell experts is located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Linkedin group

David has asked me to invite people to his Linkedin group “Mold inspectors and mold Remediators.” Now I know what you are thinking. I thought the same thing too. Why would I want to be part of this group? One thing David has done is open the group to anyone. It is not a link spamming group. Members are a community of professionals, many of whom work in the mold inspection and remediation industry. This group is about creating friendships. Each member is a human being and should be treated with respect. In return, members will treat you the same way.

Allendale County School of business

I actually came to Allendale to help open this up to the internet world. It has been being taught offline for years with a high success rate.  What is being taught isn’t MLM marketing, it teaches ownership.  It is a physical product/service model driven by relationship/friendship marketing. Much of what students learn has value to those in a MLM.

Consulting services

We have now tied our consulting services to the school. You can actually choose any product on either “Hidden treasures, guardian angel program” or  gain the consulting and become a student of the school. Life and business are about giving choices. Both give 90 percent of the profit to the guardian angel program. Each store school students have opened feed profit to the Guardian angel program. Htgap and lisechglobals stores are the only ones, which gives 90 percent of profit to the program though.

Helping communities

Each person is part of a community. Even those who live miles from anywhere have to shop somewhere. IBOtoolbox is a community also. I have seen more paid advertisers since they have asked for help raising the funds to improve the servers.
