Building a MLM brand; Fact and fiction part 2

When you are building a MLM brand, it is important to realize they are not created equal. Once you realize you have to follow the money you will understand this. There are very few which pay high percentages and those are the hardest for which to find buyers. This is because to make a profit, the product have to be priced above what people are willing to pay.

Follow the money

When you follow the money, whose hands does it end up in? If it is a few at the top, how long is it going to take to reach that level? What is the product price? Can you buy a similar product at a store within 25 miles? If you can, chances are your customers will already be buying there. The price they are paying is quite often less than you have to charge to make a profit.

Product and dream

As a MLM marketer you are in reality finding buyers for a dream they have of success in business and life as well as the product your MLM handles.

Buying into the big brand MLM

You can succeed if you join a big brand MLM. Yes, those above you will earn more however you can, in time, earn more than those near the very top. This takes time and recruiting the right people.

Who will earn the most

The ones at the bottom are always going to be paying the those above them. This means the person who recruits you will always be earning from your efforts as you will be earning from those you recruit.

Not everyone is cut out to be a MLM marketer

People are always going to be leaving a MLM company. If recruits aren’t able to see some type of results within 63 days the majority will not remain.

There are other reasons people leave

If a recruit isn’t having their needs met they often become program jumpers. Sometimes it is unrealistic expectations. They are buying a dream and when for whatever reason they don’t realize the dream they quit.

As a coach

You need to find out the needs of those they recruit. If they only want to earn a certain amount a month, this should be respected. Those who want to excel should be given the opportunity to do just that.

Everyone who recruits is a coach

The minute someone trusts you enough to join your MLM with you, you need to be coaching him or her. If you don’t know all you need to know about your company the time to be learning is before you recruit.

No one knows it all

No matter what you know someone knows more than you do. This is especially true for those on the cutting edge. It takes understanding what was to create what will be. Don’t buy the “old school” marketing techniques because they should have disappeared with the dinosaurs.

Quality and value

There is a saying “you can find a buyer for anything if you give great quality and exceptional value.” For some MLM’s added quality and value is the only way you are going to find a buyer.

It is better to give than to receive

As an internet marketer, you had better be willing to give. The way it works is you have to give to receive. Whether it is better or not you will have to decide. Sometimes the illusion of giving works better than losing money.

If you build it they will come

This is 100% not true unless what you are building is friendships/relationships with people. Every buyer is a person. If you forget this you won’t be in business long.

Treat others, as you want to be treated

Everyone including you is a buyer. Consider how you like to be treated by those who provide the necessities as well as the wants in your life. Chances are others feel the same way you do. People will drive further and pay more for a buying experience than they will from a business with pushy sales people. How do you want others to think about you?
