Bulding a brand; resources

Building a brand; resources

When you are building a brand resource can have several meanings. The most important are motivation and inspiration. It takes both in a large degree to succeed. Finding the right resources helps.

Motivation

What motivates you? Use whatever works for you. Here is an example from me personally. I sat in bumper to bumper traffic for about an hour recently. After living and working in Los Angeles for 14 years this is something I go out of my way to avoid. In the small town I live in I can always avoid traffic unless there is an accident.

Inspiration

What inspires you? It shouldn’t be money. You can’t buy happiness. Last time we checked you can’t buy good health either. Your goals and what inspires you should be the ability to have both. When people say “don’t worry; be happy” they are giving you great advice which should be inspiring. As a general rule happy people live longer and healthier lives.

Network marketing explained

In the simplest terms network marketing is passing along information of interest to those you know and those you meet. This is basically the same thing as telling your friend or neighbor about the great movie you saw or a new restaurant you just tried. Don't forget about your dentist or doctor. None of those pay though. Network marketing does.

Uniqueness matters

In our case you notice the spacing is gone. Why? We found a way to separate paragraphs effectively without the need for spacing. When you crowd something; people pay more attention because they become afraid they are going to miss something important.

Extra benefit

You never want people to have to backtrack. Network marketers are basically trained not to backtrack, newbies often don’t know how. This is part of knowing your audience.

Be who you are

“If I am being completely honest...when I do get an associate request I feel really, really flattered. It makes me think that I am doing something right if all these folks want to link up and establish a connection.” Kevin Froude http://www.ibosocial.com/Kevin/pressrelease.aspx?prid=273293

Brands are the simplest to market

The reason for this is emotion. Colors as well as words make people feel a certain way. What you have to consider is how you want them to feel, then use words and colors to help them feel what you want.

Be coachable

“Being "Coachable" has been a problem for me in the past and for many that I see struggling in Network Marketing. That's what "jumped out" at me.” Bill Bateman

Sometimes you just have to toot your own horn

Every person in the world is unique. There is not a single one which doesn’t have experiences unique to them. “Personal Branding is reaching first the heart, then the head.” Curtiss Martin http://nove-noga.com

Use what you know

“Your knowledge base/brain contains information unique to you. This can be used anywhere. Every positive glimpse people see of you; give them a reason to follow you.” Dennis Thorgesen

What does it take to create a brand?

It takes four disciplines to create a functional brand. Design of course we feel is the most important. Every part of a brand should be put together with design in mind. This in the sense of “what do you want a visitor to do?” Then your internet technology (IT), content, and marketing should be designed to make this happen. Miss one and you might succeed. Even using all 4 still doesn't guarantee success. It takes company motivation to make a brand do what it was designed for.
