Branding tips “J”

As you are building a brand you will find you are in reality telling a never ending story. Branding tips “J” gives a few pointers as to how to go about brand creation and evolution. Enjoy your journey. 


Is internet marketing a Jungle? For someone who is learning is can sure feel that way. As a newbie you might be thinking “Is there a blueprint to success and can I find it?” Every successful internet marketer and business owner is branded. All successful companies/businesses build them; they do not depend on their target market to define them. The concept is to promote “you” not the company you represent, unless you own the company.


In case you don’t know it takes four disciplines to build a brand on the internet. Understanding internet technology (IT) is one of the four. You also need expertise in Design, content creation, and marketing. There is no one person who is expert at all of these. Can you really do justice by yourself?


Many effective brands use a jingle. These are to create what some people call an earwig. An earwig is something that once a person gets in their mind is hard to forget. The California milk advisory board used “Got Milk” effectively for years. For companies who market on the internet we consider there are two types. One is a short slogan put to music. The other is strictly the written word.


Many businesses on the internet use article marketing. In most cases you are the journalist for your business. Those which are larger often depend on “the press” to do this for them. In each case if you are providing information of value to your target audience.

Amy we think of fondly as the compensation plan expert. She is a long time internet marketer who has learned the majority of compensation plans are built to fill the pockets of those at the top. In most cases this means the owner and the owners close friends. The first who join below can sometimes do well, the one who signs up years later might make a living with a real struggle.


When you don’t like the way something is built “just” change it. Amy learned that it isn’t that hard to create a MLM. She believes MLM’s should be fair to every member. The hardest part is creating the buzz needed to get a new one rolling.


Businesses, brands, and life are a journey. Now it is time to get your never ending story in front of your audience. Our hope is that branding tips “J” has given you what you need to improve your brand.
