Building your brand; getting your message out

With social media we beat to a different drummer. We don't share our links to be "liked" then never interacted with. Social media is about interaction. When we do a campaign we increase the number of targeted viewers every time. On Facebook when we have a campaign going; we generally have 80 percent of the people who have liked the page talking about our campaign. On twitter we post daily and are gaining popularity and new followers who are interested in what we share. Linked in is used only to interact with people and share with the groups we belong to. We are still in our infancy with Google + and are gaining new people in our circles almost daily. We didn't intend for our business to work out the way it did. People come to us; we don't have to go to them. We consult first then fix problems they have with their brand. For companies who are totally new to the internet we create their brand for them. The hardest part has always been to make people realize that if they are marketing on the internet or on the street they are a brand. The oddest part our main focus as a company is not building brands. It is marketing and teaching others how to effectively market their company. We handle social media campaigns, build or remake websites to increase the number of targeted visitors and the conversion rate. We teach companies how to increase their profit margins using every means possible. People can be branded too. Celebrities and writers use their name and face as well as their work to gain followers and readers. Even the cashier at the store you frequent is a brand. Those we teach how to use themselves to their best advantage. A local store owner here in business two years should already be in "the green." He is not because he listened to us. The US government does not expect a company to be making a profit until the third year. This gives a business every opportunity to be set up in the best possible earning position by the third year. He is using what would have been profit to increase his reach, keep his prices low, and increase his curb appeal both of his brick and mortar store and his social reach. At the moment people are driving 40 miles to shop at his store. What we see for him is when his third year starts he will have been paid back for his original investment, and in real profit within three months. Since he could have been in profit already and paying higher taxes he feels we have done him a great service. This coming February will start our third year in business. We plan to be in the same position as this company. We don't have as much invested in our business as he does. Internet marketing doesn't require the capital outlay at the start. It does take a marketing plan which should take a larger part of our budget than most. We also support a social cause which does not accept money donations. It is supported by earnings. For women coming out of abusive relationships the last thing they need is a hand out. Our total system is based on a hand up. These woman need to know they have value to themselves and their children. There has only been one out of 20 who has returned to an abusive relationship. This started with bringing people into our home and home office. When the numbers got out of hand we rented a second house. Our population has been up to sixteen at one time. Of the twenty adults we have taken in one is living in a homeless shelter and one went back to an abusive relationship. It is not possible to help every person because they have to want to be helped. Marketing, either internet or on the street is about getting your message out. This is the best way to be building your brand.
