Why should a network marketer build a brand?

Consider this…as a network marketer what are you looking for? Is it not for leads and prospects? How much competition do you have? What makes you different than your competition? Do you know something they don’t? Which sub niche within network marketing can you build a home? If you are new to network marketing take time to find a good mentor and learn. Although you believe you need cash fast you are better off learning so you will gain more in the long run. Pay attention while you are learning to what part of the business you do best. This is the sub niche you want to pursue. With any legitimate company there should be a product. Are you good at convincing people to buy it? Are you good at recruiting new people? Are you fantastic at finding leads? Each of those is a sub niche. It is possible to build a brand within any of them and always do better than those who spam links. You will also do better that those who compete for the high competition keywords. Sales funnels Whether you realize it or not the same basic sales funnel applies to network marketers. Those who are branded and use them well are going to put more people in the top and if they know what they are doing are going to have more coming out the other end. In each case what the person is buying is your expertise and knowledge. Where are you? What is he talking about? Are you part of your sales funnel? Even the greenest marketer should be part of the feeding funnel. This is probably a new term to a few. What it is consists of everything you do to start a personal relationship with those you wish to recruit. In essence it is how they find you. What does it include? Social media, videos, voice programs, webinars, website, reports, email marketing, microsites, these are online only. Each plays a role in bringing new prospects if they are used correctly. These are not the only way to feed the funnel. Offline methods A business card, meet ups, fliers, kiosks, television, radio, telemarketing, and billboards. Even these are not all of the offline methods. Think about this….of the 15 areas a feeding funnel is created from how many use the written word or graphics? If you didn’t go back and count there are 11. If each of these eleven look different how confused is a potential prospect going to be? Brand design This is where brand design comes into play. In many cases it doesn’t matter if you use your face and name or whether you use a logo. Most that have websites go with the logo because it can be used on every social media with the exception of Linkedin. It can also be used on videos and webinars. Lack of confusion Once you have a design in place people are no longer confused. They know they are; where either you sent them, or they chose to follow from one of your other media. Most that follow from social media to a website are more likely to opt in or join you. © May 5, 2013 4:10 AM CDT Dennis Thorgesen for Lisech eMarketing, All rights reserved.
