Every internet marketer dreams of going viral. This is even true of those building a brand for a brick and mortar store. For many independent business owners (IBO’s) this is happening using IBOtoolbox and Affiliforums found on Affilipede.com. Traffic As a business owner you want as much generic traffic as possible. To understand how finding traffic was done, you have to understand search engine optimization. This is what search engines provide. Until a few years ago you could build a website, spend a few minutes a day building backlinks, and you would see generic traffic. What has changed? As social websites gained popularity search engines started looking at it as a way to put what they consider the most valuable content on a page one for people searching. As time has passed they are using social signals more than ever in deciding what goes on a page one. The value of IBOtoolbox for IBO’s For this article we are only looking at the search engine aspect. Social signals are important in ranking. This can be your website, blog, or articles called Press releases written on IBOtoolbox. These are published in part to Network blogs and a modified wordpress blog named homebiz blogs. The full articles are found on IBOsocal.com. IBOsocial.com Why is this important? It is actually one of the best online business cards we have ever found. We don’t know whether it is the only one which is mobile readable. All of the searching we have done has found no other. Whether you write articles or use video’s you can send people to them with only your information in the background. Social sharing On the IBOtoolbox platform you will find many types of business owners. We believe the original intention for it was to be used by those in multilevel marketing. Everyone is welcome on the platform. You will find everything from tutors to lighting stores there now. If you are able to create interest in you others on the platform will share for you. In most cases this requires reciprocal sharing. http://ibourl.com/fn0 Affiliforums The traffic to this forum is mostly from social sharing. If you wonder how much a part social sharing plays in ranking check affilipede’s Alexa ranking. As of today their rank Global Rank is 243,155 Rank in US 39,755 Freedom and fun About the only restrictions on affilipede are post in the right place and practice common decency. For the internet marketers we know this is part of life anyway. Beyond that on affiliforums can be as much fun as you can have online. http://affilipede.com/ How does sharing for others help you? We hadn't checked in on one of our twitter account for a few days. It is the main one we use for sharing IBO blogs, wall posts and our. When we went in we found ten new people who wanted to follow us. There have been times when the number was even higher. Two of the ten were IBOtoolbox members. The other eight were people who had seen our posts and decided they wanted the information we share. © April 27, 2013 2:15 AM CDT Dennis Thorgesen for Lisech eMarketing, All rights reserved.
