Setting Goals for your Business

Goal setting is among the factors that accelerate positive growth in business. You will agree with me that this is vital to business advancement. Great brands like IBOtoolbox, Kris Clicks, Triplclicks, Google, Microsoft, Twitter, Facebook e.t.c all have goals on where they want to be by the end of this year, next year and even 5years from now.Take for example Google says it will hit it's 100% renewable energy target in 2017. It is possible that some have met their goals, others are about to, still others are close to 45% of their goals and yet others may be far from reaching their goals One of the advantages of goal setting is that it enables businesses to have focus, a target and something to aim at; this propels growth giving a sense of achievement which motivates entrepreneurs to set new goals since the previous one has been achieved or smashed. The situation is different when goals are not achieved, this causes retrospection which makes the organization to go back to the drawing board to understand the reason(s) for the failure and make plans to succeed. If there to be no goals, there will be no plans and probably no retrospection. Do you want to build something strong? or enduring business? I encourage you to have goals, I mean realistic goals and be willing to do all it takes to achieve your goals. I hope this helps.
