13 KOREAN DRAMAS TO WATCH IN DECEMBER 2018

Before the year ends, here are a lot of things to do when it comes to watching series. Here are the Korean dramas to watch in December 2018.

1. Memories of the Alhambra

Memories of the Alhambra Korean Drama - Hyun Bin and Park Shin Hye

Memories of the Alhambra revolves around the augmented reality computer games that changes what a person experiences around them. A CEO (Korean drama actor Hyun Bin) travels to Spain and stays at the hostel of Jung Hee Joo (Korean drama actress Park Shin Hye), and the two get caught up in a strange incident.

The series is of fantasy, sci-fi, suspense, melodrama and romance genres. It airs on tvN.

2. My Strange Hero (Revenge is Back)

My Strange Hero Korean Drama - Yoo Seung Ho and Jo Bo Ah

Korean drama actor Yoo Seung Ho is back in action. He is paired with Kpop star Jo Bo Ah who steps back into a lead role once again. The series is fun, sweet, and healing.

My Strange Hero is a romantic comedy about Kang Bok Soo (Yoo Seung Ho) who is wrongly accused of committing violence at school. And because of his first love (K-star Jo Bo Ah), he is expelled. As an adult, he returns to the school for revenge. However, he finds himself in the middle of another predicament.

My Strange Hero premiered on Dec. 10 on SBS.

3. Fluttering Warning

Also known as Love Warning, the series is about Cha WooHyun (Chun Jung Myung), a dermatologist, and Yoon Yoo Jung (K-actress Yoon Eun Hye), a popular rom-com actress. The two get involved in a scandal and decide to make a deal. They have to act like they are in love and things get entertaining then.

The series airs on MBN every Wednesday and Thursday.

4. Less Than Evil

Bad Detective Korean Drama - Shin Ha Kyun

Less Than Evil series is a crime drama. It is a remake of the British original series titled Luther. It is about a detective (K-actor Shin Ha Kyun) who is tormented by the crimes he solves and a psychopath (K-actress Lee Seol) who helps him.

It airs on MBC.

5. Top Star Yoo Baek

Yoo Baek (Kim Ji Suk) is a former idol group member. He is now a famous singer and actor. He does not try to be a good guy to attract people.

Yoo Baek is self-centered and he is brutally honest to others even if it hurts them. He gets himself in a big trouble and travels to a faraway island to get away.

On the island, he meets warm people including Oh Kang-Soon (K-actress Jeon So Min). She runs a small supermarket and also dives to pick abalone and sea mustard. She is physically an able and very strong woman.

The series airs on tvN.

6. Dance Sports Girls

Dance Sports Girls Korean Drama

Dance Sports Girls is a coming of age drama about six girls. They enter a dance sports competition. It stars Jang Dong Yoon and Park Se Wan, among many others.

It airs on KBS.

7. Feel Good To Die

Lee Roo-Da (Korean drama actress Baek Jin Hee) tries to change her jerk boss Baek Jin Sang (Korean drama actor Kang Ji Hwan) to become a better person and a better boss.

Baek Jin Sang is Lee Roo-Da’s boss and he works as a team leader of a company. The team members, including Lee Roo-Da, do not like him at all. He is mean and arrogant to the employees. He always believes he is right.

On the night of Nov. 7, Lee Roo-Da and her team have dinner together. However, upon going home, her boss is hit by a truck and dies. The next morning, she wakes up and finds that it is still Nov. 7.

The Korean drama to watch airs on KBS2.

8. Encounter (Boyfriend)

Boyfriend (Encounter) Korean Drama - Park Bo Gum and Song Hye Kyo

Encounter is an opposites story. It follows the complicated romancebetween a free-spirited ordinary man (K-actor Park Bo Gum) who seems to have nothing and the daughter (K-actress Song Hye Kyo) of a politician who seems to have everything.

Also known as Boyfriend, it airs every Wednesday and Thursday on tvN.

9. Clean With Passion For Now

Clean With Passion For Now Korean Drama - Yoon Kyun Sang and Kim Yoo Jung

Clean With Passion For Now is based on a webtoon of the same title. It is about the relationship between a cheerful and untidy woman (K-actress Kim Yoo Jung) who works at a cleaning company and the company’s owner (Korean drama actor Yoon Kyun Sang) who suffers from germaphobia and is completely obsessed with cleanliness.

The series airs every Monday and Tuesday on JTBC network.

10. The Last Empress

An Empress' Dignity Korean Drama - Shin Sung Rok, Jang Na Ra, Choi Jin Hyuk

Also known as An Empress’ Dignity, the series is set in a fictional South Korea that operates under a constitutional monarchy. It revolves around a musical actress (K-actress Jang Na Ra) who marries the emperor (K-actor Shin Sung Rok) and becomes involved in the palace power struggle and a mysterious murder.

The Last Empress airs every Wednesday and Thursday on SBS.

11. Children of Nobody (Red Moon, Blue Sun)

Red Moon, Blue Sun Korean Drama - Kim Sun Ah

Children of Nobody is about a woman (Korean drama actress Kim Sun Ah) who has a great life but loses everything after a brief accident. It follows her story as she tries to uncover the truth behind what happened with the help of a detective (K-actor Lee Yi Kyung).

Also known as Red Moon, Blue Sun, the series airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.

12. SKY Castle

SKY Castle Korean Drama

SKY Castle is a satirical comedy about the lives of four wealthy women and their families and all they go through to ensure their children are successful and get into good universities. It stars Yum Jung Ah, Yoon Se Ah, Lee Tae Ran, and Oh Na Ra.

The must watch Korean drama airs every Friday and Saturday on JTBC.

13. Priest

Priest Korean Drama - Yeon Woo Jin

Priest is a medical horror drama that deals with exorcism. It is set in a Catholic hospital. Korean drama actor Yeon Woo Jin (My Shy Boss) plays a priest who is skilled in exorcism. Korean drama actress Jung Yu Mi (Partners for Justice) is an emergency room doctor who has lost her faith in God. Meanwhile, Park Yong Woo (Life Tracker Lee Jae Goo) plays another priest who raised Yeon Woo Jin.

The Korean drama to watch airs every Saturday and Sunday on OCN.
