What is leverage and why is it important to my business. Leverage is where an opportunity allows it's members to gain a foot hold in the industry. This is made possible by marketing a product that is universal where everyone or most everyone uses it and perhaps must have it. It needs to be a product that is unique to the market place. Once a product is behind instead of in front of a trend it's time to retire that product.
Another very important aspect of leverage is where team members can benefit one another as they grow the business. There are a few compensation plans capable of doing this. One of the best and is the new kid on the block in network marketing, not necessarily affiliate marketing, is a follow me matrix. This is where those sponsored follow their sponsor as they cycle and get rewarded. In this way the team helps each other to get to payday that much quicker.
This is what is known as leverage. Leverage is very important simply because of so many competing companies. A true leader will not join an opportunity where there is no leverage.
