Usually when you think of selling during a recession you sum it up as uh oh! But did you know that a recession is just before growth? That's because salespersons usually bring out their best efforts to make up for lack of spending on the part of consumers.
The best salespeople will reinvent themselves with newer strategies, they will fill gaps where those who gave up left.
Whether you are experiencing a recession or not here are a couple of things you want to do.
1. Implement the 45-15 rule of focus and intensive effort. If you are calling prospects then dedicate 45 minutes to doing just that. No emails, surfing, or clicking for credits. Strictly calls for 45 minutes and make sure your family understands the 45-15 rule.
2. Focus on moving your product to customers. Affiliate acquisitions will follow. When presenting your business present it as if it were a brick and mortar company. Build your customer base first it will demonstrate to others that you are serious about building a business and not just to sign up others to build it for you. Though leverage is an exceptionally good thing so we will incorporate that also.
