What do you think of when you hear the word "Armageddon"? A major catastrophe or perhaps total annihilation? It's interesting that the word Armageddon is only mentioned once in the entire Bible. "And they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon". Revelation 16:16. English Standard Version.
Some believe it is a man made disaster and the world is on the brink of a nuclear holocaust. While some believe it will be caused by natural disaster others believe it will be caused by God. Does anyone really know?
One thing we know for sure is that the answer is in the Holy Scriptures and God wants us to know about it. Having knowledge about the times and seasons removes uncertainty and instills confidence and faith in the future. Do you fear the future, are you walking with uncertainty and doubt?
If you knew where the destruction was going to hit and you had advance warning what action would you take?

Did you get that? We can see from these verses that we do not want to be in Babylon the Great for that is where the destruction starts. Lets pick this up in the next blog posting and determine who or what this is.
