If you were able to spend anytime in corporate America then you received some valuable experience to help you in your self employment venture. I started with SBC known as Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in 1980. In 1984 saw first hand what divestiture is about. Judge Green as he is infamously known as decided AT&T was too big for it's britches.
Thankfully I went with SBC the local phone service provider because not long after AT&T the long distance piece began layoffs. Fast forward to 2002 when SBC purchased Ameritech, Pac Bell, new England Telephone, followed by Cingular Mobile.
Would you believe it AT&T then merges with SBC and keeps the Global respected name AT&T and they are right back where they started from. As the saying goes Judge Green is turning over in his grave.
It was at this point in time I felt empowered to start my own business and found Network Marketing as the best chance to succeed. Thus I retired in 2011 and haven't looked back except to draw on the experienced gained in 30 years of Corporate America. In all my 30 years we didn't miss one where we were required to meet compliance with the FCC. Every year every employee was required to read and agree with the compliance.
Needless to say I was over joyed when my company of choice Zeek Rewards went in this direction. That told me they are in for the long haul. That's great news for any who wants to build in this industry.
