Why Join A Home Based Business is a good self check question. Many will join for the money, if that is your first impulse then I suggest you not join one, why, because that mentality will lead you down a lonely path.
First of all your entire approach to marketing and building your business will repel and not attract. Most will not take the time to develop themselves as an expert in the field because the money now appeal will win out over patience. As a result the building of genuine relationships, which are key to becoming a true leader, will be missing.
So what are some valid reasons for joining a home based business? There are tax benefits by filing a 1099. Do you use the internet, have a cell phone, or entertain clients? All tax deductible.
Personal development is my favorite. The mindsets and the skill sets you can develop are phenomenal. In a few short weeks your mental focus, health, and positive outlook will increase ten fold. I personally am in one primary to build a business and one secondary for the training. What you don't learn in one you may learn in the other. I don't recommend building more than one business opportunity, that most likely will not work. Yet to me it's like getting something of value that would cost me five times as much on the open market. It just so happens that my secondary has the potential to pay off with out sponsoring, if it does then that will be a bonus not something I am expecting.
