After developing the right skill sets and mindsets where you have belief in what you are doing, you then need to apply with consistency an advertising campaign.
This will require an advertising budget. If this scares you then network marketing is not for you. You must be serious about what you are doing. Granted you want this budget to come from your profits. So the question is what percentage of your profits are you willing to commit. Early to bed early to rise commit yourself and advertise.
Remember this is net-work marketing, it requires work. Waiting to see old class mates at the post often will not get it for you. Use Craigslist, Back Pages, and other free advertising mediums to get started. There are things you will want to know before using these media but we will not have time to address that here.
Drop cards, road signs, and post it notes are still highly effective for generating leads. That's what you want is at least 50 people a week that you are talking to about your business. As you build your business you can move into more expansive means such as newspaper ads.
