Whether we are calling leads, communicating with family, or with others in the industry, our communication should attract others and not repel. Individuals are drawn to those who demonstrate leadership skills. Keep these points in mind during your communication.
Recognize the dis-empowering thoughts, feelings and language that you currently use and
project to others. Words like “want,” “hope,” “need,” “try,” “should” and
“might”, are all words of dis-empowerment. They paint word pictures that drive people away
rather than attracting them – and rob you of energy.
Replace these words with “will”, “know”, “deserve”, “do”, “definitely” and
words of action, certainty and belief. Once you begin thinking and speaking
more powerfully, you will begin changing the way you feel and take much more
effective action. Your energy will become more attractive to others.
Your unspoken message will be heard loud and clear
and others will be drawn to asking more about you and your business
