Knowing Your Strengths and Weaknesses
It is of vital importantance to know your strengths and weaknesses in order to be successful in your business. You may think you already know this but perhaps you haven't really given it appropriate time and thought. Think about the things you are great at, write them down and then think about the things that you are struggling with or find difficult when it comes to your business.
Listening to people around you, people you live with or work closely with can give you some insight and direction here. People have propably expressed to you in the past things that you are good at. Perhaps you are well organized and thoughtful, energetic and loud or quiet and a good listener.
The key is to figure out the things that you're good at and work with those traits and skills to better your business. When you learn the things that you are weaker at this is where you can enlist some help to guide you. No one is good at everything and when we stop trying to do it all on our own and ask for some guidance and help success will come much more easily.
Goals and Plans
SWOT is a framework that can help you analysis your companies challenges and possibilities. It is used by many 'big' businesses to identify influencers and evaluate all of the angles of a business. Basically this type of analysis can help you explore new directions, help with marketing decisions and look at areas that need retuning or perhaps a change. This process can get as in depth as you choose to take it.
