We must be very particular about what we focus on. We do it with the clothes that we wear (although I see what some people wear and I wonder - lol). We do it with the food that we eat. We do it when it comes to relationships.
Yet we don't take the time to be particular about what (thoughts) we focus on.
We allow our minds to just focus on whatever it wants and we don't take the time to take
control.
Many have said that you must control your thoughts. I personally think that is impossible. You get thoughts from TV, radio, family, friends, teachers, mentors and now Ron. I believe it is ok to accept the fact that you can't control your thoughts.
What you can control and I would recommend you start doing immediately is - controlling the stories that you write with all those thoughts.
Those stories that you write will create a particular feeling within you. Those feelings will then create action. If you accept this process, then you understand why you must "be particular about what (stories) you focus on".
Why is this important. Because you receive what you focus on whether you really really "want it" or if you really really "don't want it".
Most focus on what they really really "don't want". They get it and then complain. We should all be excited to know that we get what we focus on. It just means learning to "be particular what you focus on".
It ain't right. It ain't wrong. Its just my opinion.

PS - By the way, there is a difference between focusing on the stories that go along with - "I don't want to be broke" and "I live a life of abundance". They are not a different way to say the same thing. They are opposite of each other. One keeps you broke and one brings you abundance. Oh yeah, abundance does not only mean "money".
