Why People Are Not Producing - Part 1 of 5 why people are not producing, why people don't produce, getting people to produce

There are many reasons why people on your team are not producing. I will list a few.
1) No passion for the business 2) Aren’t willing to do the training you have set up 3) Lack confidence in themselves 4) Lack confidence in the company 5) Don’t like you
Note from Ron: (I don’t buy into the “LAZY” tag that people like to place on others. Why do I say this? The same people this tag is placed on are the same people that when you find something they enjoy doing; you can’t get them to stop.)
So I will share my view on the topics above but in 5 separate segments so the blog will not be so long.
If a person has no passion for the business, why did you (or your “closing” trainer) talk them into the business? Too many times people are talked into a business because the person that talked with them was pretty smooth and was able to overcome all of the person’s objections.
Yet, the most important thing the closer didn’t do is helping the person figure out their “why” (upfront). If a person doesn’t have passion for the business; then the business becomes a “JOB”. This is what is known as “buyers remorse” or “Join Your MLM remorse”.
Most people don’t like the job they currently have and the last thing they will do is volunteer for another one.
Ron’s recommendation: Spend time with people. Ask questions to find out what they want. If you can help them, then share your opportunity. The best thing you can do for some people is to refer them to another business. For some, they just need a friend.
I know there are some that will respond, “Ron, I don’t have time to go through all of the questions and figuring out their why”. That’s cool. THEN DON’T RECRUIT THEM!!!
If you believe it is too much work to do what’s best for people, leave them alone. Nothing bothers me more than to see someone promise a person the world and know that they are not going to put in the work to help that person succeed.
If your new people were stars already, then they probably don’t need your help anyway. The stars are the ones you just share the opportunity and then get out of their way. If those are the only people you want to work with, I don’t have a challenge with that. I would just recommend that you not promise the rest of the people something you have no plans on delivering.
It ain’t right. It ain’t wrong. It’s just my opinion
