"Difficulties - I don't even mess with them"
I came across this quote and shared it on a couple of social sites. I got feedback and people seemed to enjoy it.
"The difference between an obstacle and an opportunity is our attitude towards it. Every opportunity has a difficulty, and every difficulty has an opportunity." Writer, J .Sidlo Baxter
So the reason for my blog is I was asked by someone - "How am I getting on Grab the opportunity and face the difficulty?"
My response was that I like the quote, but I personally don't believe in "difficulties". I look at life and the things that occur in it as opportunities being presented for us to learn. What I have learned through my journey in life is that without us seeing things in life that we "do not want", how will we ever figure out what we "do want". So the "don't wants" in life are actually guides to share with you or guide you towards achieving the things you truly "want".
Since most people run or try to avoid what they "don't want", they never fully get to understand what would truly add value to their life.
To clarify the "don't wants", they are labeled by words like "problems", "obstacles", "challenges", "difficulties","wrong","negative", "not accepting" and this is just to name a few.
When you learn to accept that life is what it is. You are here to learn. Class is always in session. Life becomes enjoyable because you recognize that every thing that happens is designed to help you become more and more "happy".
A quick note for those that see "accept" as a stumbling block. "Accept" does not mean "agree". As human beings, we can accept anything (this is another conversation for later). Bottom line, "without acceptance", you just added more stress to your life. That's ok as long as you understand and are willing to "accept" it.
With all this said, learn the lessons that are being presented. Avoid the negative vibrations (which are the negative words). Words create stories, that create emotion, that create feelings and of course action followings. Hint: those steps are in the book I am writing and youtube videos I already put out about the 4 steps.
I hope through this conversation that you receive value, learn a lesson and ultimately eliminate "difficulties".
It ain't right, it ain't wrong, it's just my opinion.
Ron "Simplified" Myers

 | | I think you hit the nail on the head. Difficulties are just common and learned perception. When you change the way you think, you change the way you perceive things. Thanks for the reminder. |
