 | | I'm with you on that Minnie. How many times do people do things like jump and then ask, "Where's my parachute?" The people that are the funniest to me are the ones that say, "I am being taught a lesson" (they blame the lack of preparation on God, the universe and anyone else they can except themselves). Thanks for stopping by and sharing my friend. What's up Kenneth? Thank you Sir for the support |

 | | Read your blog. Liked your blog. Go IBO! |
| |
 | | Mr. Ron "Simplified" Meyers, where do I start? Simply, my lesson from this blog would be, "Don't wait until you jump out of the airplane and then ask,'Where is the parachute?' |
| |
 | | That's funny but true Bill. For most that holds true in most things. They don't practice what they preach. As we know that is where great character comes into play. |
| |
 | | We tell our kids they can't hang out with this kid or that kid because we want to make sure they don't fall in with the "wrong crowd" - then frequently don't take our own advice. Thanks for your thoughts. |
| |
 | | How are you Marian? Thank you for stopping by and giving a comment. It is definitely appreciated |
| |
 | | Ron, you have packed much wisdom into this short blog. I like the idea that you need to find your parachute before you jump out of the plane. Good advice indeed regardless of what the metaphor represents in each of our lives. |
| |
 | | Thank you my man Don. That is a high compliment and I accept it with humility. Hey Norman, it is true we must take responsibility because one thing is for sure, no one is going to take it for us. |
| |
 | | Take responsibility for you own actions.Great blog. Thanks for sharing! |
| |
 | | Your name is a misnomer as there is nothing simplified about the thinking of this blog...well written and to the point without preaching..that is a rare talent. |
| |
 | | What's up Leslie? I haven't talked with you in awhile. It is great to see you. You know I appreciate the time and comment. Hey Terri, you know I am taking that comment as an honor coming from you (smart man). We both know and have heard it said, "All are born originals. Most die as copies. I try to remind people, you did not come here to live for others. You came here to enjoy your journey. Thanks again. Hey Rob, I appreciate the tweet and the energy my friend |
| |
 | | This was a great post Ron, a lot of great info! Thanks for sharing, tweet for you |
| |
 | | You are a very smart man Ron because you nailed it. I especially liked your response "This is my life, create yours." It's about creating the life you want, because some people want instant and it takes time to build a business and residual income. The key here is to Focus on the reward not the process. Focus, focus, focus! |
| |
 | | This was a wonderful read. Very insightful and true. Thanks Ron for being so direct in defining your opinions. |
| |
 | | Thanks Marnee and Lisa for taking the time to visit and comment on my blog. Your efforts and energy are greatly appreciated |
| |
 | | Love this post and well received! Thank you so much for sharing! |
| |
 | | This is a great blog. Well said and to the point. I really like your last paragraph. |
| |
 | | Hello Laura. Thanks for taking the time to visit and leave a comment. It is appreciated. Nice message that was shared with the kids. I can imagine that was an adventure working in a group home. |
| |
 | | My man Lonnie, what's up? You know listening to Mom is usually a good idea - lol I tell people I am 50 and my Mom still is a big influence in my life. Why? She is wise. |
| |
 | | I totally believe in what you posted. I used to manage a group home, and we always told our kids "What your focus on is what you create" I totally believe mindset steers success! |
| |
 | | How are you Steve/Vicky? I definitely agree with your message. We are right either way (at least in our eyes - lol). Nice additional information Jason. I would assume the guy with a Master's knows something - lol |
| |
 | | When I was young, my mother always told me, "Can't Never Did Anything", thank God she never let me quit anything. |
| |
 | | What's up Ms Featured Member of the Day (Anne Long)? Congrats on the well deserved recognition. I want to thank you for taking the time to visit and give input. Enjoy the ride |
| |
 | | I've heard that too, and I've heard that the first six years they develop their outlook on relationships and by twelve the person that they are going to be. I don't know if that is true or not, but it came to me from a guy with a Master's in therapy. |
| |
 | | Whether you think you can or you think you can't...you are right. It all depends on what you think. Thanks for the blog Ron, have a great day and GO IBO |
| |
 | | Preach Jason - lol Nice message Sir. I was mentioning to someone yesterday that the 1st five years of a child's life is where you have the most influence. After that, they have to want to change. We know how most feel about change. I believe every day is a new beginning. So as you say, I get to assess where I am and plan where I want to go (each day). That makes for an awesome journey |
| |
 | | great blog... tells it like it is. Thanks so much. |
| |
 | | What you're describing here takes, for the lack of a better word, self-cultivation. I raised my kids on how they were cultivating themselves for their early adulthood and the life they would experience. As adults we have to constantly monitor and assess where we are, who we are, where that is taking us, and if that is where our heart is. |
| |
 | | I want to thank 2 of my friends for taking the time to read and share on the blog: Julie Klein and Mr Sigurd Skeie. By the way Julie, I totally agree about what you tell the Universe. That is why I believe we are getting what we put out. It is just getting people to understand that so that they are specific and get the package they "really want" instead of the one they really "don't want". |
| |
 | | Its so great to read your Blogs, so was this one. I must recommand people to take the time.

| |
 | | I have a friend who says, "Tell the Universe what you want, and it will come to you." If you believe you will fail, you are right. If you know that you will succeed, YOU are right! Great blog Ron. |
| |
 | | Thank you JL for taking your time to read and respond |
| |
 | | A thank you for sharing this informative blog on success. |
| |
 | | Thanks to my people - Dwayne Willis and George Rosalino for stopping by and giving of yourself to the blog. |
| |
 | | Hey Rick how are you? I enjoyed the "secret" when it came out. I found out the secret was actually kept out of the "secret". It is a great starting point for those that have no idea about the law of attraction. Thanks for your time my friend |
| |
 | | Excellent point about living your life and not somebody else's. Great post overall. |
| |
 | |
| |
 | | Hi Ron, great share, more people should read' The Secret",thank you for sharing.success |
| |
 | | How are you Carolyn & Elizabeth? You know I value you both. The time & effort are always a blessing. May I offer a different idea. Understand & accept that you believe at this moment - changing is hard. Maybe it can be reworded something like, "I have always believed that change is hard & that is an old way of thinking. I am enjoying the new idea that change is a friend & I am open to the gifts it brings." I hope that makes sense. At least it sounded good in my thoughts - lol Enjoy |
| |
 | | I like it Ron A great and succinct blog I believe this too Just really hard to change the thinking and vibrations but I am working on it Sharing for you |
| |
 | | Ron excellent points, taking responsibility and being accountable for our own actions is a great way to build character. I appreciated reading this today sharing wishing you the best Carolyn Coleman-grady |
