Don't re-open old wounds in order to examine their origins. Leave them healed

Don't re-open old wounds in order to examine their origins. Leave them healed

Healing on physical terms refers to the body's recovery, whether towards regaining health or that of a wound. On the other hand, it can also refer to something more of a deep emotional wound, which almost everyone knows, that the pain due to an injury or cut is nothing compared this miserable feeling of an emotional wound!

Despite this truth, why do people tend to hang on to the past, rummaging through bad experiences, and even attempt to re-open old wounds? What's past is past. It is gone. We cannot change it.

If it involved someone who has hurt you, use your power of forgiveness to clear those wounds, and move on. Also, learn to forgive yourself if you think you were the one at fault. Besides, who suffers most but yourself?

The other person has probably moved on, and enjoying his or her life right now, while you still sulk in the memory that gives you nothing but an heart ache! People do make mistakes, and on occasions hurt somebody else. What's important is that you do all you can to help yourself, and you may be surprised how quickly these wounds will heal. It does not take forever!

If you wish to be truly happy in life, no matter what difficulties or problems that may come your way, the secret is to leave wounds heal, and let go of the events and circumstances, and forgive the people linked to it.

This will let you break free from a troubled heart, insecurity, and anything else that makes you unhappy. Just be happy because you choose to be happy!

Go forward with your head held high, focused on the present time. Remember, let the past be only the lessons in your life, that have made you stronger and brought the best out in you!

Look to the future with a positive attitude, without worrying about what may happen. Maintain hopeful thoughts and positive expectations, that allow you to embrace new things and opportunities. With that you have the courage to face anything, create a beautiful future and living your life to the fullest!
