LIGHT SHINES OUT OF DARKNESS

Nothing exposes light like DARKNESS

Around the world and in this country we see darkness all around us: unrest, violence disorder, murder, abandonment, disallusionment, disorientation and more.

The Good News is that we who are in the LIGHT may now shine against this aboding backdrop that blankets our society.

Let's ask what can be done? I'm only one person. What difference can I make?

I thought the first thing I need to do is to be authentic in what I say and what I do. I have come to know that inauthentic communication and action breed mistrust and illwill.

Let's ask the question, what can I do to show what good personal relations look like? Being kind and considerate to others? (Even being the first to share a smile when meeting others might make a difference.)

Can I interupt my business long enough to offer assistance to someone who needs help?

I believe there are too few models of friendliness and good behavior being shown today. (Wouldn"t it be good if National TV would help lead in this area?)

I'm sure you agree there is no one answer to our dilemma, but if each would do what's possible for themselves, we might expect good results. At least, we will begin to see a change for the better.

My hope is that this post might awaken in others a desire and motivation to act accordingly.

We sometimes hear people complain about things and asks, why don't someone do something? Not realizing the answer may rest with them.
