Would you rob yourself or throw away treasure?

Most would most likely answer no. Of course not. But that is what happens when we refuse to STOP and smell the roses.

I normally write my Press Releases at my desk. Today I decided to write from my patio. It was bright and sunny with a gentle breeze.

Before writing I thought I would just relax for a few moments and enjoy the outdoors.

Well, before I could settle into a relaxed mode, I found myself intrigued with all the life around me.

First, a bumble bee caught my eye and I could not stop following its motion, back and forth, around and up and down as if practicing...practiciing? Bees don't need to practice. They fly instinctively.

Then another bee joined in. I supposed they were scouts searching out a site to build a hive.

Then, a neighbor passed by walking a dog. The dog was on a leash but appeared to be walking the owner who struggled to keep pace with the dog which was busy marking off his territory  of trees and shrubs.

Well...Now another bee has joined this first pair and my theory of them being scouts is blown.

Ahhh, may be its the scent of the patio floor cleaner I used that attracted them. Maybe they were distracted on their way to my flower garden.

Yes, I intended to relax but now excited about life all around me. Not only am I intrigued but moved to do a little research to answer my own inquiry. (I could have been relaxing but  would have missed those precious moments.)
