Will You Close Out 2016 or Let It Flow into 2017?

Do You Close Out 2016 and Begin Anew in  2017?

In the next eleven days some will be striving to wrap up the loose ends of projects launched in 2016. For some reason we loathe  beginning the new year with unfinished business of the old year.

There are, of course, those who are content to let this year's projects continue into the new year. Does anyone prefer one over the other?

I would imagine one could make the augument for simply letting things flow into the new year. After all, our living doesn't stop at the end of the year. It continues on and one ought to deal with whatever is in the balance.

However, one might take the opposite view. When we complete a project, it affords us the opportunity to assess our success or failure. It also makes a clearing to create new possibilities for the new year. If we are successful we can reward ourselves. If we failed we could review and make corrections for the new year.

Would appreciate hearing other opinions on how one might consider closing out the year 2016.

For those who may not have an opinion or feel it makes no difference to them, let me wish you a very fulfilling 2017.
