A GOVERMENT WINDFALL

A Government Windfall...

Last call for those who would like to take advantage of a not so widely publicized Government program know as HARP (Home Affordable Refinance Program), designed to benefit homeowners needing mortgage relief. The program was created to help home owners affected by the severe weather storms of 2009.

Program scheduled to end soon...Time is of the essence for those wanting to take advantage of HARP. The program is scheduled to end December 2016.

The Good News...

For those homeowners who did not qualify previously may be eligible under the revised HARP 2.0 program.

More good News: homeowners with first and second mortages may be eligible to get a HART morgage with reduced mortgage payments and/or interest rates.

Why HARP?

The wisdom behind the program was put money back into the hands of the homeowners with the hope of energizing the US economy.

I posted a Press Release on this subject back in February 2016, but felt it would be a good idea to review the matter, given the ensuing deadline of December 2016 and considering the sparse airing through mainstream Media. I can only suppose that the Adminstration preferred not to provoke the wrath of the banking community that might not appreciate giving up mortgage revenues.

What can you do now?

You can go online to familiarize yourself with this program. You can also visit the HARP website at www.harpprogram.org. You may also call: 888-666-5019.
