Have You Lost Your Perspective?

Have you lost your perspective?

Or, are your business plans proceeding as have been projected?

Sometimes it is necessary to stop and assess who we are and distinguish between who we are and the marketer we are becoming or have become.

I can remember years ago I was asked,"when do you plan to get married?" Surprised at my answer, I said, When I get a divorce from my business. I was quite serious because even then I realized that I had become my business. The two were inseparable. It was not a deliberate act, but rather something that happens when we don't distinguish between our person and personal goal and business goals.

We can become so enmeshed in our businesses, we forget who we are; made in the image and likeness of our creator and given  specific  purpose.

It is the realization and actualization of that purpose that gives the perspective whereby we can relate to our customers and prospects in a manner that produces the results we aim for.

We find comfort in knowing that our greatest good and benefit is related to our giving of ourselves with integrity in serving our markets.

I'm grateful to IBO ToolBox which makes available to us such a knowledge base and associates willing to share their knowledge and experience.

From the Sankofa bird, we get the old proverb, "It is not wrong to go back for that which is forgotten". I will add to that, we can go forward by looking backwards.
