Imagination What a Gift

Imagination...what a Gift!!!

God has given us powerful tools to aid us in this journey of life. All to often we forfeit it’s rewards when we give in to demands of our daily routines. I am reminded of my childhood days when I was free to run around in the back yard and pretend I was riding my horse, chasing (don’t quite remember what I was chasing) this or that; and having great fun. What I didn’t realize at the time is that I was training my body and my mind to deal with life in the future. (Much like a den of bear cubs jostling with each other, yet look like they may be fighting  one another.)

But what good is the Gift if we don’t use it?

Well, today I decided to step into the “back yard” and let my imagination run on autopilot for a minute or two. What I discovered is this: when my imagination is fueled by the Word of God, it energizes and gives us confidence in who we say we are:

I imagined being made in the image and likeness of my Creator, the God of the Universe, having a strong desire to connect with God through others; that He has given me the power (through knowledge of Him) to attain the highest potential for which I was created.

Remembering that through His divine nature, I have been given all that I need for life and right-living. Wow! I’m sure many would agree this is true in the spirit world, but is it made visible in the natural world? What can I do to make this a reality for me? The Word tells us that “we are to also decree a thing and it shall be established unto us.” I muse, “made in the image and likeness of God”, I can do something. I can

speak just as He spoke. and things came into being.

“...because as He is, so are we in this world.” Again, how do I translate that into the natural world  where I live everyday? (I hope these questions may provoke others to imagine their greatness. Not only imagine but live in that greatness.)

Now back to the so called “Real World”

Another asset that God gives us is the His love expressed through others as we connect with each other. One of the features of IBOTool Box is the help we receive from each other; the willingness to listen to and offer help to each other. Let's keep on imagining.
