Creating a Long Term, Scalable PPC Campaign

To scale a PPC campaign, you have to be willing to reinvest your profits. All successful companies are first and foremost profitable, but the next natural step after you figure out how to be profitable....YOU SCALE YOUR PROFITS.

I just want you to remember this. When you start earning income with your WA affiliate campaigns, SEO or PPC, you should be taking this money and investing it in campaigns that will further grow your business.

Profits => Reinvest => Scale

That is the process.

Grow Your Business Organically

Most people earn a bit of money, and spend it. They end up buying themselves stuff, perhaps a new outfit or in some cases a new vehicle. 

Our suggestion. Don’t buy yourself anything until your business is operating in a way that where it can continue to scale on its own. The initial seed money that you earn as a result of your early on efforts is critical because if reinvested back into your business it can lead to much more success.

Don't spend, re-invest. Your business will thank you in the short and long term.

You don’t want to be in a position where you are turning off campaigns because you bought a new pair of shoes and now you can’t quite afford your Google Adwords campaign.

This is what I call growing your business ORGANICALLY.

Throw Spaghetti Often

We all do it. Throw spaghetti (metaphorically) and see what sticks. This can work and the "trial and error" strategy will work to a certain to degree, but if you follow the principles of relevancy taught within this training, you should be able to create predictable and very successful campaigns.

Just don't be afraid to try new things and let your intuition take control sometimes. It will get you moving in the right direction and it will help you reveal brand new techniques and strategies that will lead to campaign growth.

Just remember, ad group creation should take some time. Don't rush your ad groups or your relevancy, this is what will lead to maximal success within the PPC world. Small, tightly knit ad groups with highly relevant landing pages.

Flow of relevance is critical. For example, if I were to target the keyword “how to make money selling XYZ”, I would want to have XYZ in my ad group and ideally within my landing page content.

Build, Convert, Replicate

People tend to go in the wrong direction. They throw 20-30 ad groups out there, scatter them across different pages, have moderate success but have no efficient way to refine a campaign or scale a campaign.

The approach I typically take is to focus on getting one or two ad groups converting. This way you are minimizing your initial work before you know what is actually converting (and before you spend time scaling your campaigns.

Get traffic and refine. You want to CONVERT first, before you scale. Once you get one or two pages converting, you can scale to 100's of pages doing the exact same thing and they will convert in a very predictable way.

Replicate success. It works.

It is OK to dump and try something new. But ultimately you want to get to a point where it “clicks”.

Congratulations, you have completely Phase 7 of the training and you are now a very well versed PPC marketer. You understand what it takes to create successful campaigns in both BingAds and Google Adwords.

There is unlimited keyword potential out there in the PPC world and the audience for promoting Wealthy Affiliate is EVERYONE, so I hope you are really seeing the potential here.
