 | | Dave your grandmother was a wise person, and so are you. Thank you Ally for sharing your thoughts on this, appreciate hearing it. |
| |
 | | This is all so true Terri, I have had this experience in the past and come across people with this everyday. My Grandmother always said to us that "A silent tongue keeps a wise head" |
| |
 | | Hi Terri. I can relate to what you have just said. People on a roll telling you something you have already told them you have no time to do or are not interested in. |
| |
 | | A great way to introduce your busihess opportunity. |
| |
 | | This is something that has gone on far to long and it really needs to be stopped. We can do our part by not letting it go on when you hear that three letter word. It will keep people honest. |
| |
 | | Yes, Catherine. Unfortunately people are just like that. Thanks for pointing it out. I'm going t make sure that's not me. :) |
| |
 | | YOU said the truth Catherine. Good hearing back from you. Be blessed with peace and prosperity. |
| |
 | | A good piece to read..no buts for sure,,for someone willing to achieve success. |
| |
 | | The *** word is not good when you hear it. |
| |
 | |
| |
 | | I know the word *** is in my vocabulary somewhere however I can't find it. Oh that's right I hear it from others daily. Good thing I know two people who don't use it. I never hear it come out of my corporate lawyers mouth either. |
| |
 | | Bill you do have a sense of humor. Hahaha! And Marian you're right because it does sound better to use and instead of but. Thanks to all of you for your comments today. |
| |
 | | Great blog Terri, thanks for sharing! |
| |
 | | What a wonderful blog. If you find you confronted by a situation where you are tempted to say but and you want the entire sentence to be true, try replacing "But" with "And". |
| |
 | | But Terri....really. I'm not a prospect. (I read more because I don't want to hurt your feelings.), etc, etc... In all seriousness though, thanks for the blog. The ebook is a good read. |
| |
 | | But I know you couldn't contain yourself Tim. Keep the IBO spirit alive my friend. |
| |
 | | But Terri, I must share this wonderful blog:) |
| |
 | | Thanks for the well-grounded advice in this blog, Terri |
| |
 | | There are people that won't listen, how will you find what they are thinking and need if you don't stop and open your ears. Thank you Terri. |
| |
 | | I agree Rieke you definitely must listen to what people are saying because it's what they are thinking and if you're not listening when talking about your business, you will not know when they have tuned you out completely. This means you are wasting time and talking to the air. |
| |
 | | Listening... this is what most people aren't capable and therefore they stick only with their own thoughts, way of looking at what is happening around them. Sometimes it's astonishing how many 'buts' they have... |
| |
 | | Thank you Jule and Karen for your comments, I just had to put this out there. |
| |
 | | Love this blog,it had me laughing. Nice job Terri. |
| |
 | | As soon as I read that first "but," it brought a smile to my face Terri. This is SO true! I also love the prospects who go on & on telling you how great they were with XYZ company, and they'll make you a fortune. My question is always, "Why did you leave XYZ company?" To me, don't tell me how good you are, show me!
Great blog Terri! I wish you continued success. |
