This just doesn't apply when looking at a business opportunity, it applies in your personal matters. People get in a rush and the majority of people hardly ever read their contracts. Don't get me wrong, there are a few people (about 15 percent) who do. That's because they love doing this kind of stuff and analyzing information, this type of person will go through this process and still won't make a decision. So what's the point!
Okay I got off a little bit, let's get back to the subject at hand, the policies and procedures (your contract) will tell you what the company is all about and what they are planning to do and how will they compensate you. In this day and age with technology and the internet progressing rapidly everyday, this is a must now more then ever to do this. You might wind up in a very bad situation if you don't. I have seen it happened to so many people and they were left devastated. I want you to remember what I am saying to you here and now, READ YOUR POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
If you are looking at a business opportunity and you can find them, then ask the person who told you about this business. If they don't know, then you better look elsewhere because the odds are they haven't read them either. I am a part of an organization that will teach you the skills and show you how to locate them and what to look for in them. Believe me, there are a lot of things you need to look for when reading your policies and procedures.
