I have encountered many people in my life, and some of the people that I came in contact with were how can I put it. They didn't have my best interest at heart. I tell you this because when I am mentoring people and they don't seem to get it. YOU just have to let them go along until they get it for themselves.
As the saying goes "YOU can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink." This is very powerful because it speaks so loud and clear to people, yet they don't really understand it. You can't shove your opinions down someone's throat it just doesn't work that way. People have to make up in their mind when they are ready to accept what you are saying to them.
It has to be their own will, and come straight from the heart. It takes time for all this to take place, and that is the key. Time!
When talking about time, it never stops. You are getting older second by second, minute by minute, day by day, and one day you will look around and wonder where did it go to. YOU will think about all the time you wasted by not taking advantage of an opportunity or learning all you can to make your business a success. This will not make you happy when you look back, in fact it might make you get a little depressed.
It is a depressing thought when you're looking back and realize that you spent your whole life working on a dead end job and your future doesn't look to bright. What's the whole point to this post? It doesn't have to be that way. That's why I said "Are YOU done yet?"
