This ASEA review will focus on the product and the science not the associated marketing opportunity. If this product is so life-changing, category creating and a quantum wellness breakthrough then the opportunity created by this company is significant and cannot be ignored by entrepreneurs.
When I was first exposed to the science of redox signaling and ASEA, I become very excited and immediately saw the positive implications if the product really worked as stated.
So what is redox signaling chemistry and why is ASEA so profound?
ASEA is made from sodium chloride – yes, salt water! And if you read misleading reviews online from opportunity-grabbing marketers, they don’t see further than the label deeming this product a potential scam because the company is “selling salt water”.
ASEA is made from sodium chloride and starts its life as pharmaceutical grade salt and distilled water. It passes through a complex electrical and chemical process over three days that turns it into a saline solution containing trillions of redox signaling molecules. This solution mimics the saline contents of your cells. Your cells are made up of a salty saline solution. Have you ever tasted your tears? Do you know what amniotic fluid tastes like? When you taste your sweat, what does it taste like? Your fluids are salty.
If ASEA was merely salt water we could not drink it. It would make us sick. Seeds can germinate in this saline solution. All living matter will grow in this saline solution.
What is so profound is that scientists have found a way to stabilize redox signaling molecules in this solution. When you put ASEA into your body either by topical application or oral suspension you are putting back redox signaling molecules lost due to age, disease and oxidative stress.
So what are redox signaling molecules and why are they critical to our health?
Inside each cell you will find many mitochondria. Mitochondria are the power houses of the cells. Some cells such as heart muscle cells which are very high metabolic cells have literally thousands of mitochondria within them. The primary job of the mitochondria is to produce ATP – the energy that runs every process in the body.
There are so many mitochondria in our cells that the total weight of all the mitochondria inside our body is about half our overall body weight. The process to protect, repair and replace our cells is dependent upon the production of molecules created by the ATP process.
The ATP process produces two sets of molecules. These molecules are called redox signaling molecules and form the basis of this incredible new science: redox signaling chemistry. These molecules are being constantly produced inside of your cells, but they only last a few seconds in your body.
Originally scientists thought these molecules were unnecessary by-products of the ATP process.
Now we know they are critical to our cellular health and all health can be related to damaged cells. The first set of molecules are immune system communicators. They fortify the immune system and facilitate communication in and among the cells. In other words, they fight viruses and bacteria and keep invaders away from the cells. They tell the cells to protect, repair and replace themselves.
The second set of molecules activates antioxidants. This was such a significant a-ha moment for me because this explained exactly why so many people I had worked with did not respond to large supplementation of antioxidants. Their redox signaling molecules were not being produced and therefore the antioxidants were not being activated in the cell!
Without redox signaling molecules health continues to deteriorate and antioxidants cannot do the work to overcome oxidative stress.
The fact that ASEA has managed to produce and stabilize these communication molecules is amazing. ASEA is not a drug, herb, mineral, juice or nutrient. This is a native product to the body and therefore can be used in any imaginative way – topically or orally. It is 100% non-toxic and a study has shown profound benefits for athletes.
