The Second of a Six Part Series on Social Media - Facebook #2

Good morning to everyone. I hope you had a great weekend with family and friends.  The 2nd in the 6 part series I am writing on Social Media and cross posting is now up.

I received many comments and interest in the first part about Twitter.  I hope I can help you straighten out your Facebook account if it needs it; Mine sure did need some cleaning up.

You can read the full post here at my blog: 6 Part Social Media Series – Cross Posting – Facebook #2

While writing this post and looking at my Facebook account, I was frankly a little shocked that I had let so many sites have access to my FB account.  This brought up another question about using Facebook and Twitter to sign into sites just because it's easier; I've done it too but will be stopping that also.

What happens if you always use your Facebook or Twitter account to sign into another social media site; for example; Klout (picked at random) and for some reason Klout and/or Facebook are having technical problems; you would not be able to sign in to either account.

Why in this time of hackers and scammers are we so willing to share our log in information with other sites?

We run virus scans and firewall protection and malware protection but I'll bet over half, if not more of us automatically trust a site that puts up a Facebook or Twitter logo and asks us to sign in with our log in information that we are supposed to keep secure?

I trust you will find some value in the 2nd of my 6 part series.  Next week, we will tackle YouTube and see what has taken place there.

As quite a few of you know I am also a published author and I love working with people in getting started with writing as a hobby or as an income source.

If you have ever thought about writing a book or just write for fun, I would like to welcome you to join my group on Facebook called Create Yourself Writing Workshop

I have also started making short videos each day with the concept of "Writing Your Life in Lists."  The videos are very short with soothing music, a famous writing quote at the beginning and end with the "Write Your Life in Lists" writing prompt in the middle.

You can catch up on the previous videos on my blog Monna or visit our very own IBOTube where I also have the writing prompt videos uploaded to my IBOTube channel

Have a wonderful and productive week.
