The Most Watched TV Show Of The Evening

The most watched show of the evening was no other than the Presedential Debate. Millions were glued to the TV tonight to watch a real wrestling match between the President now and the President that wants to be. The way I look at it the President is just someone we need to vote for and make sure he is someone we can stand to look at for the next 4 years. He is just a public figure that comes on TV in hard times and makes everyone feel at ease. So he has to be ok to look at of course. Why would you want to be comforted by someone that you look at and say I didn't vote for you. Get off that stage. The reason I say this is because there are many people talking about how the President has done such a horrible job and has really messed up the country. Even my 13 year old son. I keep reminding him and I always will that the President has no control of the country. Congress does. Like I said the President is just a public figure and can not control the fate of the country. Of course he has lots of ideas and really good ones seem to get turned down by Congress. But the ideas that the President presents that are not so good for us are passed by Congress. This of course is because Congress consist of a diffferent party than the President. Of course they would like the people of the President's Party to be mad at him for doing bad things for the country. Either way it is not the fault of the President it is again Congress. I only remember voting for Bill Clinton both times and Al Gore the time he won and didn't win 5 minutes later. How awful that must have been for him. During his celebration be told sorry we made a mistake. I think that was all fixed because many people wanted Bush in. Someone made it possible. Then look what happened to the country. My husband was actually happy about Bush being President because he gave us some money I think 2 times in 8 years. No other President has ever had that happen before. But then again there is a trade for what we had gotten then. Look what is happening to us now. I did not vote in the last Election. Matter of fact I even had forgot who was running against Obama. I knew who was going to be President. It was just so obvious. There has been predictions through the years that there will be an African American President. This year what is really strange is Pennsylvania tried to throw in a voter ID law that would have been passed today that every resident of Pennsylvania needed ID to vote this year. The people were speechless. It seemed that someone had it in for the voters that came out in drones 4 years ago and voted for Obama. The City of Philadelphia launched a program that would make sure every person that needed to would get to the voting booth. They picked up people that couldn't drive. Handicapp people were getting there. Bus loads of people were picked up and taken to vote. Now with the ID law and only a month before elections it would be impossible for anyone to get ID in enough time for the election. People have to get their Birth Certificates in order to get ID not to mention getting to the place to get your ID. They have just announced that the law was agreed on but not for this election and thank goodness for that. So everyone has 4 years now to make sure you have ID to vote. Of course it will drop the amount of people voting. No one wants to go through all that. I am a little mixed on who I want and not sure if I would even vote this time. I was proud of Obama for having the guts to go and run for President. I was even happy for him when he was elected. But something changed my admiration for him when he came out with an enemies list. It is a list of people that contributed some way to the Mitt Romney's campaign. One of the people that was targeted was the CEO of a direct marketing company called Melaleuca, Frank Vandersloot. I am a Marketing Executive in Melaleuca. I wasn't to happy that the President would do something like that and hurt this mans business just because he likes Mitt Romney. But who am I. I did see people drop out of Melaleuca right before my eyes and so many Marketing Executives lost a lot of business. So not only did he target the Ceo of the company he targeted the american people. Here is a link to the article: http://spectator.org/blog/2012/05/30/frank-vandersloot-on-making-pr Here is a link to the video where Frank Vandersloot was interviewed about his reaction to the backlash he received : http://youtu.be/AYRuUhCF8QQ One day I'd like to see Donald Trump make it as President. I used to work for him as an assistant at the Trump Tah Mahl in Atlantic City. I know he would do a good job fighting Congress. He has built a nice life for himself and has gone through a lot of hard times with bankruptcy but still seems to climb to the top. He has taught so many how to be an entrepreneur and he has fought and won so many corporate fights. I just think he would be great for the job. He did announce that if Romney did not get in he would consider running in 4 years. I also heard a rumor that Roseanne Barr was thinking of it also. Can you imagine? Bottom line is we need someone to stand up to Congress. It seems each year the country has become more communist. Always being told what we can and can't do. Telling us what we should and shouldn't yet. How we should and shouldn't look. It is getting awful to live here anymore. But I still love my country and would never want to leave it.
