Who Were Your Ancestors?

Did you ever wonder who your ancestors were? How many of you ever went to and did your Family Tree? Someone in my family has done it. A cousin that I have never met. But I know of her through closer relatives. She is selling it for 100 dollars. I am thinking of buying it. Wouldn't you love to know if you are related to anyone famous. Maybe you already know the celebrities in your ancestry. I already know of General George Gordon Meade who is famous for the wars he fought in including the Battle of Gettysburg. There are many monuments in his honor, a Lake named for him and a Fort named after him. Philadelphia even has a Society named for him. He lived at 1836 Delancey place in Philadelphia PA and died in 1872 in his home from complications of old war wounds. Then this brings me to another famous descendant of General George Meade his Great Grandson George Meade Easby born in Philadelphia PA known as a philanthropist and an antique collector. He collected over 100,000 antiques before he died. Some antiques were from his Great Grandfather General Meade and Thomas Jefferson. He was also an actor/producer and a cartoonist after World War II. His mother Henrietta Large Easby was a descendant to Nicholas Waln who came to Philadelphia on the same ship as William Penn and was later given the area now known as Frankford in Philadelphia Pa. George Meade Easby was best known as the Master of Baleroy Mansion. He moved into the mansion when he was 11 brought there by his mother and father. This is a place that has always been known for paranormal activity and George Meade Easby described many of his own encounters. This mansion has many stories and are a very interesting read. To this day it is known as one of the most haunted mansions in history. Here is the final famous person that I know of in my ancestry. This ancestor can be considered a distant relative for he is still living. He is an ancestor of George Meade Easby and General George Meade. George Meade Easby's father was May Stevenson Esbay. Can you guess? Parker Stevenson is my cousin born Richard Stevenson Parker in Philadelphia PA in 1952. He was best known for his role as Frank Hardy in the TV series The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew mysteries starring with Shaun Cassidy. Later he was an original cast in Bay Watch. He married Kirstie Alley in 1983 and had two children. They divorced in 1987. So that would have made Kirstie Alley a relative of mine for a short while. I may buy that family tree from my cousin. I know I have very famous and well respected people on it. I would love to know more about who they are. I know my Grandfather Merton O. Meade designed the Itek camera for the printing industry and sold it to a couple of guys from Germany for a 1000 dollars to put food on the table. I never got to meet my Grandfather because he died before I was born. I live with his wife Monona Meade, my Grandmother, who is now 88. Though I never knew what my Grandfather did for a living I picked Print Shop as my career in Vocational School. It came so easy to me and I had so much fun doing it. I made $8.00 dollars out of school in 1986 and back then that kind of money was really good. I promote a company now that is helping the printing industry back on it's feet. Thousands and thousands of cards are being printed and addressed daily in their state of the art facility in Salt Lake City Utah. I love to make cards everyday for friends and family and would love to have the addresses of the relatives in my family tree. I would love to send them a personalized card with a picture of our family. I would especially love to send a card to Parker Stevenson and let him know he has a cousin named Parker. Parker is our son with Autism and we did not know at the time that we were relatives of Parker Stevenson. My husband chose the name when everything he saw had the name Parker on it. As he traveled through his day at work he would see various things like dump trucks, cleaning and construction equipment. He one time got lost on a road that took him to a building that had Parker written on the door. So Parkers' name was meant to be.
