What Are You Selling?

Have you ever taken a moment to think about what, exactly, you're selling?

 

If you're in a network marketing business, chances are you're selling products or selling the opportunity, right? Affiliate marketers are selling whatever affiliate program or product they are currently promoting, right? Business coaches, life coaches, success coaches ... you're selling your coaching services, right?

 

WRONG!

 

Now, I know what you're probably thinking ... "Who the heck is this guy to tell me I'm wrong? How does he know what I'm selling!" Am I right? Well hear me out before you leave, because I think when I'm done explaining myself, you just might have a whole new view on your business.

 

What if I were to tell you that you're not selling products or services, nor are you selling a business opportunity. Okay, so what are you selling then, right?

 

You are selling YOU. Think about that for just a minute. YOU are the key in any sales process. YOU are the one your customers will look to in order to get the latest product news. YOU are the one your prospects and downline will look to in order to guide them to success. YOU are the one your coaching students will be modeling in their own lives. 

 

YOU are the product of your business. Consider it YOU, Inc. Without YOU, you wouldn't have a business.

 

Now, armed with this knowledge, there comes some big responsibility. You are now carrying your own standards. You must be the best you can be - not for an MLM company or affiliate product, but for YOUR business.

 

People are not going to follow products or services. Sure, they might be enamored with that side of things for a while, but that will grow cold. When it does, they'll be looking to YOU - the reason they came to YOU in the first place - for guidance and support. No matter if you're brand new to internet marketing or you're an old pro, once you've sponsored one person, or signed up one customer ... YOU are the leader.

 

See? I told you it was a BIG responsibility. Now, go out and SELL YOU.
