Actions Speak Louder Than Words

I was talking to a friend the other day and we both got on the subject of how we both typically like to know all about something before we put our effort into doing it. This was in the context of marketing and business opportunities. 

Now don't get me wrong, on one hand I'm one of the biggest risk takers you'll ever come across, but on the other hand I do like to plan things out and have a strategy before I begin. But oftentimes I know that hinders myself and others from taking any action at all. 

You never know if something works until you try. You can spend all day coming up with a wonderful step-by-step system of what you think will work and why but you'll never actually know unless you roll up your sleeves, get your feet a little dirty and test things out for yourself. What's scary about this is, yes, you will fail and get rejected a lot (in the context of sharing business opportunities with others) but folks, that's the ONLY way you learn. 

On the flipside, as soon as you begin taking action you will start to learn things along the way and get better. Then, once you've refined a strategy, you can present it to your team with confidence. Not just hand them something and say try this, I think this works.
