Funnels That Convert

In my last PR, I talked about generating leads.  No matter what business you are in, you should be in the 'lead generation' business.  This simply means that, every day, you must be getting visitors to your website (traffic), those visitors will ideally provide you with their names and, at a minimum, their email addresses on your 'lead capture page'.  By garnering the email address of a visitor to your website, you have now generated a 'lead'.  This new 'lead' is now someone you can follow up with and start to develop a relationship with by way of a well-designed email follow-up series.  This, in a nutshell, is what the whole marketing process is all about.

What has just been described above is the front-end of a sales funnel.  As you attract tvisitors (traffic) to your webpage, you generate 'leads' as described above and, ultimately, the object of the exercise is to convert those 'leads' into sales.  A well-oiled sales funnel will do this for your business.  In other words, what we are talking about is converting leads into sales.  The higher the rate of conversions, the more revenue you will generate for your business!

This marketing process is a favorite subject of mine because so many people struggle trying to earn money on the internet.  The whole concept of 'sales funnels' has to be grasped simply because it is the way to success online.  

So, if you are not employing a sales funnel in your marketing, then setting one up should be a priority.  Once you do, you will begin to enjoy converting 'leads' into sales.
